Today , it is still the haven of the travellers but it seems that the live music happennings and the big Bhom Shankar rituals on the beach have now become memories of the past.Certain places are stiill "shanti" and it is still worth passing by Bardez,Goa when you're travelling in India! |

...Apparently,
one of the reasons why the king gave his agreement for the event to
take place was that it involved well known artist from the morrocan
folk and Gnawa trance scene with international performances such as
Total Eclipse or Star Sound Orchestra, etc.
Hilight Tribe was to play on the opening night after the impressive representation of Mahmoud Guenya and his fellow Gnawa troups. |

Before starting a live, you always need a few moments to plug in,
set up, and get high! This pause was the opportunity to contemplate
the variety of people on the dancefloor : all coming from differents
corners of the world yet obviously converging in the same direction.
Morrocans, japanese, europeans, americans and even iranians were warming
up the vibes together! (It is crucial to add that the ambient temperature
at night was approximately of 5° C)

the instant we started the Natural Trance set, the dancefloor was
full power... like a bond fire in the middle of the desert!

During
these three days, amongst many people, we made friends with a morrocan
rasta surf drumming crew who invited us to stay in their community
to appreciate the many treasures of their country. That's how some
members of the Hilight crew stayed a month longer : Rising suns in
the dunes, jams on the Atlantic coast, and Ethno botanical studies
in the Rif mountains ; we couldn't have missed out on that ! H;
